Launching a book is like streaking through a wedding reception… and then realizing it’s your friend’s wedding. It’s a hit of adrenaline with a side of vulnerable fear. That’s the truth. But it’s always worth it when someone says, “This message changed my life!” That’s the payoff! I can’t wait to hear more of this.

Here’s why I’m excited about Everyone’s a Genius…

This message will change lives! It is helping leaders put on new lenses for spying geniuses within their teams, communities, churches and organizations. They are finding a framework to affirm work happening in communities, careers and families that we haven’t previously had language for. People will be reminded of their value in the eyes of God and others.

Everyone can glean something from this. Ephesians 2:10 reminds us every human is wired for impact. This book can apply to everyone, but we need others around us to fully realize how God has gifted us. We are blind to most of these things apart from the eyes, ears and words of others.

We need a dose of affirmation. There is a scarcity of affirmation in our culture. Fear, insecurity and busyness hold us back from sharing comments that can actually unlock people to be who God designed them to be. I picture groups of people sitting over dessert affirming one another with this book in hand. This gets me even more excited than individuals reading it alone!

Here are a few ways to engage with the book…

Buy the book. Purchase a copy for you and a copy for a friend who would resonate.

Write a review. Some of you have read an early copy, and I would love to have you write a review here. This helps the exposure greatly!

Write a blog or post. I would love to have you write your thoughts about what you’re learning from the book in a social media post or blog post. Include #everyonesagenius and the cover too!

Share it with influencers. Share it with a blogger, podcaster, pastor or kingdom leader you know who might introduce it to their network.

Watch and share the trailer video. Here is a visual storytelling of the book.

Start a Genius Group. The book is designed to be read in community. There are solid questions at the end of every chapter and a section presenting 18 different wirings we have rarely affirmed in our culture. This could really catalyze a team!

I am grateful for everyone who has come along on this journey with me from the team at Harper Collins Publishing to my supportive wife to friends who engaged with early copies of the book and gave me feedback. I tell stories of real geniuses busy at work being who God made them to be. I want to steward this opportunity to see as many people as possible called into kingdom action.
